The foundation of the new Maywood Grill was laid years ago when Brady and Casey Henger met and worked together at Lautrec Restaurant at Nemacolin Woodlands. While working together at Lautrec, Casey and Brady discovered a deep respect for quality ingredients and service. In 2011 Brady and Casey purchased an old restaurant along Rt. 40 and decided to put their beliefs in quality into action by opening Brick Oven Cookery. By making things from scratch and using organic, fair trade coffees, the Hengers saw the restaurant gain some real traction and start to grow. After three years at the old location, the opportunity came to expand into a brand new building, and in the summer of 2014, Brick Oven Cookery was given a new home and new identity to match! We are now Maywood Grill, and we promise to continue our standard of quality. With an extended menu, we've kept a lot of the old favorites but have created new ones as well, especially by using fresh and seasonal ingredients. At Maywood Grill, almost everything is made from scratch on premises, including sandwich rolls, pizzas, salad dressings, and desserts. We do this to ensure quality and consistency in every meal. We've also dedicated a portion of the new building solely to our delicious coffee drinks and amazing baked goods. We love to cook and we love to serve!
